How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookies

I know that most people know how to make chocolate chip cookies, but it is the only thing that I know how to make other than pancakes and baked potatoes.

I don’t really care about what order you put everything in because it all tastes the same in the end.

First, you put in 2 1/4 cups of flour

Next, you add one teaspoon of baking soda

Then, one teaspoon of salt

After, you add 1 cup (2 sticks) of butter softened

Next, 3/4 cup granulated sugar is added

After that, 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar is added

Then, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Next, you add two eggs

Then, add CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Stir it up and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until cooked (usually takes 9-11 minutes)

THEN YOU HAVE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

A Chat With Leslie Knope

If I could have a conversation with any fictional character it would most definitely be deputy director of the parks department of Pawnee, Indiana; Leslie Knope. Although, Pawnee, Indiana doesn’t exist, in the tv show Parks and Recreation Leslie Knope does a wonderful job maintaining peace with the strange people living in her town, even though at times they are a handful http://www.pawneeindiana.com/parks-and-recreation/staff.shtml. She is a hard working woman, who also is a feminist and extremely strong http://www.knope2012.com/. I would love to talk to her about her views equality. Also, she shares an interest with me, which is waffles. I love waffles and so does Leslie Knope, so maybe we could talk over some fluffy, warm waffles from JJ’s Diner (a restaurant from this tv show). In all, Leslie Knope is a strong, humorous, hardworking woman, and I would love to have a conversation with her.

My Perfect Day

My perfect day would consist of traveling to multiple different places because I cannot choose one as my favorite. Of course, to fit all of this into one day would be highly impossible because I would run out of hours in the day. But, imagine that I had unlimited energy, and the hours of the day lasted as long as I wanted them to. First, I would fly to Disneyland with my friends and family. We would have lunch at the Blue Bayou in New Orleans Square (in Disneyland), and I would get a big steak, of course. Then we would ride all the rides in Disneyland such as Small World (usually for little kids but I don’t really care), Splash Mountain, the Haunted Mansion, Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, the Matterhorn, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean ride, etc. Then after buying a ton of candy and random stuff, we would go over to California Adventure (an extension to Disneyland) and ride all the rides there such as California Screamin’, the Tower of Terror, Radiator Springs Racers, Grizzly Peak, Toy Story Mania, and of course Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train,  and then we would finish off with Animation Academy (a place where animators teach you how to draw Disney characters). Then we would fly over to Lousiana and visit the real New Orleans. We would go

Then we would fly over to Lousiana and visit the real New Orleans. We would go and buy some beignets, and then go to the French Quarter and maybe visit some haunted houses. After listening to some music, eating delicious food, and touring around Lousiana we would take off and leave for New York.

Once in New York, we would go to Alice’s Teacup Chapter 2, http://www.alicesteacup.com/chapter-ii-2/ and then we would go to Serendipity 3 http://www.serendipity3.com/ for dinner, and get some frozen hot chocolate and chicken nuggets. Then for dessert, we would travel over to Dylan’s Candy Bar, and buy a lot of candy for ourselves, friends, and family. Afterward, we would walk over to Central Park, and sit down and bask in its beauty while eating candy. It would be snowing, but we would be impervious to being cold so it wouldn’t really matter. Then we would walk over to the carousel and ride it while attempting to throw the golden rings like Holden Caulfield. We would then take a horse-drawn carriage to back into the city. We would then visit Madame Tussauds https://www.madametussauds.com/ and the Met. Then we would go see a broadway musical. We would do a little shopping, grab some donuts, and then fly back home to share stories with our friends and family. This might not be the perfect day, but it does sound amazing.

Book Review: The Siren

This story is based around a siren named Kahlen. She “works” for the ocean, and owes her a certain amount of years before she can leave and lead a “normal” life. She is constantly sad because she is aware of the fact that she is sacrificing lives to the ocean, but then she meets a boy. Although she cannot speak to him, he still finds her interesting. I found this book extremely interesting, and couldn’t put it down! I think people who enjoyed the Selection series or enjoy reading fantasy would love this book.
